Josie you will be truly missed by all of your family. Your life may have ended but you will remain in our hearts and minds forever.

Heavenly Father,
We praise You for all
Your gifts to us.
In a special way,
We thank You for Josie.
Bless her always in Your love.
Keep her safe by your side
when she enters
the kingdom of Heaven.

Lord Jesus,
our Brother and
our Savior,
welcome Josie.
into paradise.
Let her be with You in Your kingdom
and share for ever in the
heavenly banquet,
where you are Lord for ever and ever.

TEARS
Tears are often a gift of God.
Tears help to relieve the tension that has built up inside you.
Tears say how deeply you feel and how much you care.
Tears speak for you when you cannot find words.
You never have to be ashamed of honest tears.
God sees through your tears to the pain and sorrow of your heart.
Your tears are precious to Him.

And some day, when earthly life is past, God will wipe away all tears from your eyes.
And all suffering and pain and sorrow will forever be done away.

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11

In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-38

11 Corinthians 13 (vs 1-3)

If I speak with human and angelic tongues but do not have love, I am a noisy gong, a clashing cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and with full knowledge comprehend all mysteries, if I have faith great enough to move mountains but have not love,
I am nothing.
If I give everything I have to feed the poor and hand over my body to be burned but have not have love, I gain nothing.

1 Corinthians 13 (vs 4-7)

Love is patient, love is kind. love is not jealous, it does not put on airs, it is not snobbish.
Love is never rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not prone to anger; Neither does it brood over injuries.
Love does not rejoice on what is wrong but rejoices with the truth.
There is no limit to loves forbearance, to its trust, its hope, its power to endure.

1 Corinthians 13 (vs 8-11)

Love never fails. Prophecies will cease, Tongues will be silent, knowledge will pass away. Our knowledge is imperfect and our prophesying is imperfect.
When the perfect comes, the imperfect will pass away.
When I was a child, I used to talk as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I put those childish things aside.

1 Corinthians 13 (vs 12-13)

Now we see indistinctly, as in a mirror, then we shall see face to face.
My knowledge is imperfect now; then I shall know even as I am known.
There are in the end three things that last: faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love.

When the time
Of our particular sunset comes
Our things, our accomplishment
Won't really matter a great deal.

But the clarity and care
With which we have loved others
Will speak with vitality
Of the great gift of life
We have been to each other.

A Prayer For Our Josie!
Immortal God, holy Lord,
Father and Protector of all You have created,
we raise our hearts to You today for those
who have passed out of this mortal life.

In Your loving mercy, Father of all,
be pleased to receive them in Your heavenly company,
and forgive the failings and faults
they may have done from human frailty.

Your only Son, Christ, our Savior,
suffered so cruelly that
He might deliver them from the second death.
By his merits may they share in the glory
of His victory over sin and death.

For all the faithful who have died we pray,
but in particular for Josie. Wife of Joe, Sister of Sammy, Francis & Virginia. Mother of Chris and Ernie as well as friend and colleague of many thru out the United States of America. Nor do we forget all who did good to us while on earth, who helped us by their prayers, sacrifice and example. We pray also for any who may have done us harm, and stand in special need of Your forgiveness.

May the merits and prayers of our Virgin Mother,
Mary, and those of all the Angels and Saints,
speak for us and assist them now.
This we ask in Christ's name.

Amen!

LETTER FROM HEAVEN

To my dearest family
some things I'd like to say,
but first of all
to let you know
that I arrived okay.
I am writing this from heaven.
Here I dwell with God above.
There are no tears of sadness;
here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy
just because I'm out of sight.
Remember I am with you
every morning, noon, and night.
That day I had to leave you,
when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me
and He said, "I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again,
you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family,
they'll be here later on.
And while you are here waiting
you can lend a helping hand;
there is so much we have to do,
to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things,
that He wished for me to do,
and foremost on the list
was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed,
the days chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you....
in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth
and all those loving years,
because you're only human,
they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry,
it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers,
unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you
all that God has planted,
but if I were to tell you,
you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain,
though my life on earth is o'er,
I'm closer to you now
than I ever was before.
There are rocky roads ahead of you
and many hills to climb.
but together we can do it
taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy
and I'd like it for you too.
that as you give unto the world,
the world will give back to you.
If you can help somebody
who's in sorrow and in pain,
then you can say to God at night...
"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented
that my life was so worthwhile.
knowing as I passed along the way
I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody
who a sad and feeling low.
just lend a hand to pick him up
as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street
and you've got me on your mind,
I'm walking in your footsteps
only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go
from that body to be free.
remember you're not going...
you're coming here with me.
Love Always
Josie
